It’s almost the end of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month but we are not done celebrating! From Thursday-Saturday this week, Seda Nak and I / SAMASAMA, are curating a FREE 3-Day OUTDOOR Arts Festival in partnership with the Kennedy Center!
There’s an Art Market that will highlight local AAPI and diaspora artists, yoga w/ Justin Espiritu, dance lessons w/ Nāpualokelani Kamakele, Jamie Garcia, Erica Childs & Bonavy Chhim, we’ll be screening Don't Think I've Forgotten ‘Cambodia’s Lost Rock and Roll’, Isabelle De Leon and Dior Ashley Brown band Iza Flo will be performing, Shuno Re! শুনো রে! debut DJ set! And me! I’m also, DJing!
